First starters what is combination skin? This skin type is normally a mix of oily skin in the center of the face, ( an area commonly called the T-Zone) plus dry or normal skin on the cheeks. Treating combination skin is a matter of balance.
Your aim is to treat the problem without drying out the other areas on your face. Your first step will be the cleansing, its best to avoid harsh oily skin or milky cleansers that are formulated for oily skin and instead use a moisturizing cleansing bar or facial wash. The idea is the foaming of the cleanser with help strip the oil for the oily parts of your face without dehydrating yours cheeks at the same time. After cleansing use a gentle exfoliater because many women find that they have dry flakes of skin and pimples around the nose and an exfoliator will help that not to happen.
There you go a few tips on caring for your combination skin, I will do dry and normal and oily at another time.
